Street Fighter 6 Showcase RECAP

Capcom and Street Fighter streamed their Street Fighter 6 Showcase event online today (4/20/23) to their official social media channels and website hosted by Hip-Hop Legend Lil Wayne along with the game's director Takayuki Nakayama and producer Shuhei Matsumoto as they present and break down the game's three core modes.

World Tour is both a Story Mode and Online Adventure Mode Hybrid that lets players create their own fighter and traverse the world Street Fighter like never before by exploring sprawling cities, training under legendary warriors like Chun Li and series newcomers like Luke to build your own unique fighting styles to take on other players and NPCS in different quest and missions to build your Fighters Legacy.

Battle Hub is where you can bring your custom character into the World Stage where players can compete competitively or casually, play classic Capcom arcade games, buy or earn epic loot drops and participate in public events and much more. Battle Hub also lets you and your crew build their ranks and earn your stripes as you can bring your gaming teams and fight clans to SF6 and customize your logos, outfits and more.

Fighting Ground contains the Arcade Mode, Training Mode, and Offline Mode but it also contains a robust Tutorials, Character Guides and Combo Trails to help the player learn the basics and then learn your favorite character down to a T. Street Fighter 6 has both the classic six button layout for experienced players and four button layout for beginners welcoming all players of all skill levels

Capcom Also announced that the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour will feature Street Fighter 6 as the main game and offer a $1 Million Dollar First Prize and a $2 Million Dollar Prize Pool. SF6 will also feature a yearly Character Pass and for Year one will feature Rashid, Akuma, Aki And ED with three versions of the game available to preorder, The Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition on PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam on June 2nd 2023 . Capcom ended the showcase by doing a surprise drop of the Street Fighter 6 Demo on PS4 And PS5 today and they will release it on Xbox And Steam on April 26 2023.
